Thursday, January 11

8:00am-8:00pm:  

  • University Housing Move-In Day New students only.

9:00am-5:00pm:

  • Airport Shuttles New students only.

5:30pm-7:30pm:       

  • Dinner at the Silversword Café (Tredtin Hall)
  • Join us for a family meal, and meet the Director of Residence Life.

 Friday, January 12

All new students are required to attend sessions/events on this day

8:30am-9:00am:     

  • Shuttle from Off-Campus Residence Halls New students only

8:30am-9:30am:               

  • New Student Check-in (Vi & Paul Loo Student Center, Clarence T.C. Ching Hall)
  • All new students must check-in. Pick up your Orientation packet and other important information. Format is drop-in with no planned program. All new students must check-in during this time.

9:30am-10:30am:  

  • Presidential Welcome & Prayer Service (Mystical Rose Oratory)
  • All are welcome regardless of religious affiliation.

10:30am-11:00am: 

  • Campus Tours (Students & ‘Ohana)
  • Orientation leaders will conduct tours of campus departing from outside of the Mystical Rose Oratory.

 11:00am-12:15pm:                 

  • Support Services at CUH (Eiben Hall, 2nd floor, T.C. Ching Conference Center)
  • Join the Dean of students, and our orientation staff to learn about important support services on campus that will help you thrive at Chaminade.                      

 12:15pm-1:15pm:    

  • Lunch & Welcome from the Marianist Brothers (Hale Malia)
  • Students and ‘ohana are invited to diner with us at the residence of the Marianist Brothers. Parents will break away to talk with the Dean of Students.                                                                                                                  

1:15pm-2:00pm:       

  • Student Resource Fair (Henry Hall Courtyard)
  • Learn more about student life at Chaminade, our community, and specific departments. Tasty treats will be served.

2:00pm-3:00pm:       

  •   What do you do outside of class? (Vi & Paul Loo Student Center, Clarence T.C. Ching Hall)
  • The Office of Student Activities and Leadership (OSAL) offers numerous opportunities for students to get involved in co-curricular activities. This office enhances out-of-classroom experiences that promote personal development and leadership training.

3:00pm-4:30pm:   

  • Opportunities to Visit Campus Offices
  • Offices will remain open until 4:30pm. For assistance with locating offices, please see an orientation staff member or refer to campus map. 

 Saturday, January 13

Activities on Saturday, January 13th, are for new students only.

7:45am-4:30pm:       

  • Mystery Bus Trip (Bus departs from front of Clarence T.C. Ching Hall)
  • *RSVP will be available at New Student Check-in.*

5:00pm-7:30pm 

  • Dinner at the Silversword Café (Tredtin Hall)

 Sunday, January 14

10:00am:  

  • Morning Mass (Mystical Rose Oratory) All are welcome regardless of religious affiliation.

11:00am-1:00pm:                    

  • Brunch at the Silversword Café (Tredtin Hall) New students & ‘ohana welcome.

5:00pm-8:00pm:     

  • Dinner at the Silversword Café (Tredtin Hall) Start of Meal Plan*

5:30pm:   

  • Evening Mass (Mystical Rose Oratory) All are welcome regardless of religious affiliation.
